Carers UK provides information, advice and support to carers. Their website provides information about any aspect of caring including support with Carer’s Allowance, benefit checks, advice on financial and practical matters related to caring, practical help or exploring what technology is available to make caring easier. They provide factsheets that break down the complex issues simply and accurately so you get the full picture of the support available. South London Cares brings older and younger people together – to share time, laughter, new experiences and friendship – so that everyone can feel part of our changing city, rather than left behind by it.
The Care Workers’ Charity (CWC) was founded in 2009 with the objective of supporting current and former care workers with one-off crisis grants. The CWC support the almost 2 million care workers in the UK, contributing to one of the largest workforces.
Young Carers is part of the Carers Trust and helps young carers to cope with their caring role through specialised services across the UK. These services are delivered by Carers Trust Network Partners, which are independent charities offering young carers the chance to be young people free from their caring responsibilities through trusted activities, clubs, outings, holidays and one-to-one support.
