Liverpool Carers Centre was established by Local Solutions to deliver a range of services that improve the quality of life for carers in Liverpool. As well as undertaking carers assessments, our Carers Centre also offers a flexible support service that provides impartial advice & information. We can also signpost carers to specialist organizations depending on individual needs and circumstances.
Carers Trust provide help and advice whilst also working to improve support, services and recognition for anyone living with the challenges of caring, unpaid, for a family member or friend who is ill, frail, disabled or has mental health or addiction problems. Their website has a range of information and advice for carers including their useful ‘Help Directory’.

Carers Trust works to transform the lives of unpaid carers. It partners with its network of local carer organisations to provide funding and support, deliver innovative and evidence-based programmes and raise awareness and influence policy.​ Carers Trust’s vision is that unpaid carers are heard and valued, with access to support, advice and resources to enable them to live fulfilled lives.
Carers UK provides information, advice and support to carers. Their website provides information about any aspect of caring including support with Carer’s Allowance, benefit checks, advice on financial and practical matters related to caring, practical help or exploring what technology is available to make caring easier. They provide factsheets that break down the complex issues simply and accurately so you get the full picture of the support available. Rethink Carer Support are a well established and welcoming carer support group. A wealth of local knowledge and experience leads to interesting and varied support groups. A telephone support line is run by carers for other carers. Group members are also involved in making sure the voices of carers are heard by local NHS and social care services.

The Care Workers’ Charity (CWC) was founded in 2009 with the objective of supporting current and former care workers with one-off crisis grants. The CWC support the almost 2 million care workers in the UK, contributing to one of the largest workforces.

Young Carers is part of the Carers Trust and helps young carers to cope with their caring role through specialised services across the UK. These services are delivered by Carers Trust Network Partners, which are independent charities offering young carers the chance to be young people free from their caring responsibilities through trusted activities, clubs, outings, holidays and one-to-one support.
