Phil Chesters
MTSP Adviser
With a background in clinical musculoskeletal rehabilitation and vocational rehabilitation, Phil has worked for the MTSP since September 2021 and is based at Addenbrooke’s. Phil provides support to patients with serious injuries as a result of major trauma and facilitating access to advice, legal services and rehabilitation.

Suzy Barker
MTSP Adviser
Suzy works at Addenbrooke's Hospital, signposting major trauma patients to legal, charitable and voluntary organisations. Suzy qualified as a social worker in 2005 and since then has worked mainly within the charity sector. She began her work with Headway Cambridgeshire in the summer of 2017 before starting her role with the MTSP team in March 2022.

Emilie Witt
Headway Adviser
Emilie is the Headway Adviser at Addenbrooke’s, providing information and support in understanding traumatic brain injury and its impacts to major trauma patients and their families. Emilie completed her degree in BSc Psychology and Criminology, and postgraduate degree in Applied Psychology. She began working for Headway Cambridgeshire in 2019, providing community rehabilitation services. She now works as Headway Cambridgeshire’s Team Leader, as well her role as the Headway Adviser at Addenbrooke’s.

Jade Shorter
Citizens Advice Adviser
Jade works with major trauma patients at Addenbrooke’s Hospital. She has a degree in Criminology, and worked in the homeless sector whilst completing her degree. Jade also volunteered for the youth justice board helping young people stay away from crime. Additionally, she has volunteered at Cambridge Police as a restorative justice practitioner, helping people come to terms with being a victim of crime. Jade has worked at Addenbrooke’s as part of the MTSP since 2018.
